AMBASSADORS OF HOPE

A more inclusive society for the UK.

I hope that I will be able to influence change through becoming a member of parliament and positively impact both my local constituency and national policy.

Kiana – Leeds

My hope for the future is that the UK will become a much more inclusive society, and everyone will be given the opportunity to excel.

I  hope to be an instrumental part of making sure that Black culture and experiences are understood and celebrated, that gender inequalities such as the gender pay gap are eradicated and that those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds are given the support needed for them to access any opportunity they desire.

I hope that I will be able to influence change through becoming a member of parliament and positively impact both my local constituency and national policy. I have a particular interest in the Department for Educations remit; thus, I aspire to become the Minister for Education. I hope to modernise the curriculum so that it incorporates both modern British culture as well as providing a conclusive overview of British and international history.

Personally, I also hope to have a successful blog where I can share all the fantastic opportunities I have had the honour of being part of and I would love to be able to mentor other young people people from a similar background.
