The reason as to why my dream is to have my own real estate business is because it combines two of my biggest dreams. To own my own business and to work within the real estate industry. I have always enjoyed running my own small business and I love the feeling of investing time and money into something and then making more than what you originally invested.

Dream: To Own a Real Estate Business

From a young age I have always been fascinated by the intricacy of buildings. One may see a normal house in a city and think nothing of it, however, the amount of planning that has to go into it, the physics, the study of the surface on which the house is going to be built upon and many other factors is what truly amazes me.

I am also in awe of the designs of certain buildings such as religious buildings, the colours of the materials used, the ceilings of cathedrals, the detail carved into the stone, etc.

I was lucky enough to be selected to partake in an online real estate programme set up by the University of Reading, the second best university in the UK to study this degree. I learnt many new things which further developed my dreams of working in the real estate industry such as the process of buying industrial and commercial pots of land, how certain amenities within an area can boost the prices of the area as well as how the geography of that area can affect the area.

From a young age I have had a passion for being a salesman, starting off from selling cupcakes in primary school at a mini market we would have during our break to purchasing electronics such as Airpods, phone chargers to supplying and sourcing trainers which are in high demand.
