My dream has always been to be not only a computer scientist. Since I began learning it, it’s been one of my greatest passions, especially living in a time where the understanding of technology is very much valued. Throughout my school journey, I knew that this was the field where I belonged and everyone around me encouraged me to pursue it.

Currently, I am studying at university, but to get to my career path, I know I need to take many more steps. I hope to take up work experience during my degree, and get a job at a prominent company after I graduate. I would really like to work at BT, Morgan Stanley, or even Google. Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot more beyond the scope of the desk.

I want to also be an inspiration for young POC thinking of entering the world of STEM. I want to be an influence to young people in general, to teach, mentor and support them in ways that conventional methods cannot; I want to start this by becoming a youth worker.
